Trailwood Lost Dear Friends
We have lost a dear longtime friend here at Trailwood, including Mike Dove, who, along with his wife Joann, had been a lot owner for 27 years. Mike was passionate about fishing and cherished the many trips he took with friends to places like Cumberland, Norris, and Cherokee. He created countless memories with his family, watching his grandkids grow up and participating in fishing tournaments—especially enjoying the ones he won.
Mike also loved the camaraderie of Trailwood, where he made lifelong friends, enjoyed annual gatherings, and spent time playing cards, watching fireworks, and sharing great food. He had a deep love for his animals, his family, and, of course, the Kentucky Wildcats. Mike’s warmth and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
We also share the loss of Paul Stotz with his stepson Terry Whitlow and his wife Valerie "Shelly" Whitlow, a longtime Trailwood friend for close to 30 yrs.
